Our purpose is to provide a safe environment where a child can grow and develop. Midtown Christian Academy exists to provide avenues that will meet the needs of each child and encourage a positive attitude toward themselves and others. Everything we do at Midtown Christian Academy revolves around loving children. Our staff recognizes that you are entrusting your most precious gift to us, your child. We take seriously our job of helping parents raise happy and healthy children.

Welcome to Midtown Christian Academy – an institution built on God’s promises, exploration and wonder – a world of creative learning and development for your child. Great and exciting things are happening at our academy, and we invite you to experience them. As an educator of fifteen years, a Christian, and a mother of five, I am well aware how much every parent wants the caring, loving, nurturing environment for their children, especially when it comes to a child-care facility. I have worked as a certified educator for ten years, and within the last five years served as Lead Interventionist to assisting teachers as a Lead Coach. Along with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and master’s degree in educational leaderships, I hold many accreditations and certificates in early childhood education and have had extensive training in early childhood education as well as CPR and FIRST AID certification. Realizing how the world of childcare and education is constantly evolving, I am always learning something new to better myself and ultimately to provide better education services to the children in my care.

Faculty

Midtown Christian Academy only employs individuals of high moral character. Christian individuals are sought who project an ability to extend warmth, love, compassion, and understanding for your children. We understand the extreme need and importance of having qualified, conscientious teachers.

Personnel

Personnel of Midtown Christian Academy are required by the Mississippi Department of Health to complete fifteen contact hours of staff development each licensure year. Contact hours for staff development must be approved by the State licensing agency. Adult and Infant CPR and First Aid training is required by our facility for all personnel.

Dress Code

Employees are requested to be in uniform, well groomed, presenting a favourable appearance appropriate to the service they are providing. In light of whom we serve, employees of Midtown Christian Academy are requested to dress appropriately at all times.

Wonderful clean and Christian environment. The staff is sweet and caring. I was scared putting my daughter in school last yr but Mrs Kim made me feel more comfortable from the time I met her. My daughter is enjoying it and learning so much.

This is a great school. My daughter was in daycare at first and I felt like she really wasn’t learning as much as she needed to be. When I was given the opportunity to bring my child to this school I jumped on it. She started learning soooo much so fast. I’m glad that I decided to put her in this school. All of the staff are really nice and friendly. They really do care about the kids and they keep you informed about what is going on with them. I will definitely recommend this school to everyone!!!
